September's HARRA Board Meeting Rescheduled

Due to the inconveniences (lack of power and traffic considerations) caused by Hurricane Ike, HARRA's monthly Board meeting, which is normally held on the third Monday of each month, has been rescheduled to Monday night, September 29 at 6 p.m.

HARRA president Anna Sumrall Helm announced today that the first two races of the 2008 HARRA Fall Series - the HARRA Cross Country Relay, hosted by the Tornados, on Saturday, September 27 near the intersection of Memorial and Shepherd and the United Space Alliance 10-Miler on Sunday, October 12 at the University of Houston-Clear Lake - are planned to be run as scheduled.

Next Monday night's agenda calls for the following items:

+ New Runner of the Season tabulations
+ Need of Just for Kids Fun Run registration and food directors
+ Discuss the HARRA Race Requirements for the United Space Alliance 10-Miler and the Koala/Luke's Houston Half Marathon
+ The Practice Tour de Bayou
