BARC / HARRA Member Terry Mosley

Lisa Fletcher and Terry Mosley start another loop at the Koala / Luke's Houston Half Marathon

(From the Bay Area Running Club)

Terry Mosley (1953 - 2008): We regret to inform you that BARC member Terry Mosley passed away Monday night, November 17. When we have information concerning funeral arrangements, we will pass it along.

We are a small club and his loss will be felt deeply. Terry was a consummate BARCer. He trained relentlessly and ran hard. We never heard any complaint, excuse or negativity from this gracious runner. He competed often at our local and HARRA races. He wore the BARC singlet with pride. He ran with many of us and indeed completed a 20 miler on Saturday with two other club members. His running was going very well, having just PR'd at the 25k. He was poised for a BQ in Dallas in December. That he would achieve it was not in doubt for those of us who followed his progress this season.

Please don't forget to support the Toughest 10K in Houston on Sunday at 8 a.m. on the Kemah Boardwalk. Terry would expect it of us. It is our race, cosponsored with Clear Lake Fitness Club and if you will not run it, show up to volunteer.

As you run this week, be grateful for the day and spare a thought for Terry, his family and his friends.
