Jan and Feb minutes were approved

Nancy will be meeting with Brian this week to begin working on the kids run

Chuck went over Profit and Loss Statement. -$2,000.00 for the month of Feb. Ahead $7,000.00 for the year. $10,000 to $15,000 profit off the Bayou City Classic.

Roger is attempting to locate team placques. He suggested highlighting various groups each month on the HARRA web-site. Strider's will be first along with a smaller area group.

There was discussion on how to promote club members to join HARRA. Increased yearly HARRA dues have caused concern.

Running groups will be spotlighted in Footnotes in future issues.

Camille had nothing to report.

Tom stated next issues of Footnotes is on schedule.

Annie stated there are 1277 HARRA members vs 1417 members at this time last year.

Joe will attend the next meeting at the Downtown Y.as they have become a new club wishing to be HARRA affiliated.

Liz stated the organizing of the Spring Banquet is going well. Has several volunteers recruited.

Mercedes & Rosemary wanted to acknowledge the contributions that Smoothie Island has made.

Shawn informed us that his kids group had their awards dinner the end of Feb and medals were given out to the kids.at different levels of recognition.

10 students received complimentary entry to the Bayiu City Classic 10K.

John stated the Ironfoot shirts are in and will be given out at the Law Week Run and the LP Run. The same logo was kept on the shirts.

Rosemary and Mercedes vonunteered to man the HARRA booth at the Law Week 8K.

Steve informed us that PIM has 264 students. Friends of Scleroderma will be taking entries for the 5K on Wed. 3-21-01. with a $2.00 discount for PIM members.

Tom M. had nothing to discuss.

Bob's new e-mail address is rhoekmon@earthlink.net . to begin the end of March.

He informed us that Conoco has excellant AED/CPR teams and were there to resuscitate the runner at the Conoco 10K who collapsed from cardiac arrest.

Training courses will start up in the fall.

New Business:

RRCA Convention
It was motioned and approved to send Joe Sellers and Annie Hadow to the convention all expenses paid by HARRA. This was a majority vote.

A convention fee subsidy will be provided for Steve Shepard to attend the convention as well as voted on and approved by the board.

Joe asked Liz to head the upcoming board nominations.
