Minutes from the Feb. 2002 meeting were approved.

Jeremy sent treasurers report via e-mail to all memebers. Copy to be attached.

Roger is working on the Ironfoot series. Getting the trophies.

Bob spoke about the AED units on behalf of Randy. Described procedure involved for submitting to the city for the use of the units.

Joe discussed letters from disgruntled runners. Randy will be in charge of getting back with these runners to discuss their issues.

One question arose, about grading. Per Roger, we do use standard age grading.

Tom stated that Footprints issue was out. Planning to revise the present process to have issues out in a more timely manner. next issue will be out in May.

The board discussed proofreading the Footprints articles as a group prior to printing.

Annie will e-mail the membership update.

Liz discussed the Spring Banquet . The Cost for members will be $13.00. Guests $16.00. Children $5.00. The Banquet will run from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm same as last year. Scheduled for June 8, 2002 at Garden in the Heights.

John Reich spoke of plans for a summer program for the Kids Run Houston. He will start contacting schools in the summer for spring start up. Presently, he is working on getting thank you letters out.

Ralph quoted 299 Pim members at present. 60 % of these have no previous running experience. The average is 32.

Bob stated he needs volunteers for cross country event.

Bayou City Classic will be reported on by Camille Yarbrough.

New Business:

RRCA convention . The Board approved two board members to attend the convention with a $750.00 allowance. each.
