How can we make sure that the death of a member does not show up in footprints or other mail outs that could give the family more grief/hurt feelings?
Tom Woltz: July/August Issue: articles due 5-31-02, ads due 6-6-02
Can we speed up information for Footprints Articles? They seem to be running 1 ½-2 months behind.
Ballots that went out did not have the proper and secure tracking # (HARRA membership #) to keep people from doing multiple copies and voting more than once. There will be 200 copies of the ballot available at the HARRA Banquet for voting.
Proposed $2500.00 for VVIP Awards... it was 2nd and passed by a unanimous vote. Felix Lugo will give these awards out.
John S.: Iron Foot shirts need to be reprinted and given out at the banquet.
Tom McBrayer: Has been attending Street construction meetings to help avoid problems with race courses.
Jeremy Mills: Report on email and Web site: Review programs page and archive old records.
Side Issue: Parking at Rice University will have west stadium lot open for free. And a petition will be sent out about charging for parking at the University.
Roger Boak: Tour De Bayou had a good turnout for the Spring. He will have the club standings done soon.
Annie Hadow: 1991 Members are current. 104 have renewed. Membership applications are updated. Post card reminders should go out the 1st of August.
Randy Carlson: PIM- starts Sept. In the Spring they had 299 sign up. Everyone had a good time and a good turnout at the Scheladerma Race... (94 participants?)
Ram: Kid's Run waiting on sponsorship decision by Memorial Hermann.
Randy Carlson: Mile markers to be finished and installed soon. AED for the Police has been approved by the city. Robert Hoekman, MD has been told to order them.
Need to get final dollar/numbers from Camille on the Bayou City Classic.
